Insect groups visiting PoMS target flowers

The charts below allow you to explore how frequently different insect groups visit the PoMS target flowers, based on the data collected during the Flower-Insect Timed Counts (FIT Counts). The figures get updated 'live' as more counts are added via our website and app.

Choose the flower that you wish to explore from the dropdown list, and then hover over or click on the chart to highlight the insect groups (includes insect images from the Divulgare project).

The charts are based on data from all FIT Counts submitted from the UK and Isle of Man, between 1 April and 30 September each year since PoMS started collecting data in 2017.
